In this brief eternity...

Alright guys…This is easily the hardest week or so of this journey. We had the last meeting with the Doc Monday for the MRI comparison (Post Op from Sept. and Post Radiation from just a month ago) The gist is this. Mom has 3-6 months according to the Doctor. She would have 12-14 if she were mobile but that window looks like it has closed. She simply makes it SO hard on the PT peeps they don’t come back :-( I spoke to the sisters about giving Mom the news and we are all under the impression that she simply does not want to know a time line so that’s what the meeting was for. The Doc gave her at least 5 opportunities to ask for a time line and she chose not to do so. That says to us loud and clear that she does not want to know so I/we are honoring that wish. If you call her please do the same. Our goal is to enjoy as many moments with her as we can in the months to come…She is in good Christmas spirits though missing Dad from time to time :-)
