In this brief eternity...

WOOO HOOO Mom is home and we couldn’t be happier to have her…I bought balloons, Got her room all decked out with supplies, AND even braved the Black Friday crowd this AM and scored an incredible deal on a 32 inch LCD TV for her room. It was ugly but I pulled it off…OMG the Black Friday peeps are a vicious bunch…She cried when we brought it in…Good Stuff…Our plan is to take the over 200 movies I have been recording to DVD and start a movie watching marathon…Avatar…Lord of the rings…Twilight…You get the idea…

Laila is adorable…Told her Grammy today that she was gonna eat breakfast with her everyday before school as long as Grammy agreed to have the proper kids channel on for the event ;-)

I have downloaded an Iphone App to aid me with the whole medication / Blood thinner injections / Blood sugar tests / Insulin injections. She has 15 meds all to be delivered at specific times. The blood sugar and insulin tests and injections are 4 times a day… All new but I’m up for the challenge.

Earned my first bed pan stripes tonight too…I can do this (I’m faking it right now…But I will get better)..I have made it a point to be open about the mechanics of what I’m doing and let her know I’m there at any level she needs me and whatever that level requires…My turn to put on the brave face. She faced brain surgery, Radiation and Chemo at the same time ALL to have this time with her Family….I’m there…I’m committed…and I can do anything with gloves on :-)
