In this brief eternity...

Have been holding off on this post for awhile now…Hoping for some better news but here we are :-) She’s been in a slump as far as PT has been going…

She can’t sit up on her own yet. Right now they are using the Hoyer lift to get her from the bed to the wheel chair and progress is REALLY slow. Her left side is so weak that when they get her sat up they can’t leave her side or she falls over.

She’s SO ready to come home and it really looks like the PT isn’t making the progress that we had hoped for so we are gonna bring her home on Friday.

I had wanted her to be in the Thanksgiving mix but she thinks that might be a bit overwhelming so we are shooting for this Friday.

Having a hospital bed and hoyer lift delivered in the next few days.

We will continue PT here at home but it’s really not looking good as far as mobility. She is on a bed pan and they have been using the lift to give her a bath. It’s going to be rather interesting around the Monroe household until we settle into something resembling a routine.
